A native to Montgomery, Alabama, Jennifer has had a life-long career in the arts. While serving as Marketing Director for Alabama River Region Ballet, she spent many years developing her style as a Photographer and Artist. Much of her inspiration comes from being submersed in the ballet world for most of her life, and her style errs on the dramatic side. Jennifer is a completely self-taught painter, and has spent years studying and perfecting her style of art. In 2015, Jennifer decided to enter her very first art competition at the Alabama National Fair. To her surprise, she won First Place which bolstered her confidence as an artist. The words of a dear artist friend always echoed in her ear, "Just paint. Whatever comes out, that's your true style. You don't need anyone to teach that to you." Those words resonated with her as she pursued her passion,

Jennifer's love of vintage style comes through in all of her work, making it seem timeless and ageless. All of her works could seemingly be from any time period and have a very classic, old world style, as she draws much inspiration from that of the Old Masters. She believes in appreciating the beauty in all things, especially those that are broken and aged. As a matter of fact, those things are amongst her favorites. You will often see her art framed in old and unrestored antique frames. This highlights the juxtaposition of that which is beautiful and ornate, with that which is aged and broken, creating a masterpiece look.

Jennifer has always been drawn to horses and equestrian farm life, so she and her husband purchased Historic Old Selma Farm in 2017, where they are raising their children and restoring the farm. They also started a horse rescue, where they have taken in numerous horses on the brink of starvation and brought them back to good health. Jennifer's art is now heavily influenced by life and animals on the farm. Although she still loves to paint her cheeky pin ups and Zeigfeld Follies girls. Her life's work is an eclectic mix of everything she finds beautiful and thought provoking.

Jennifer is a member of the Montgomery Art Guild and her work is represented in the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts shop, The Kelley Fitzpatrick Memorial Gallery in Wetumpka, AL, Southern Art & Makers Collective in Montgomery, AL, and
Burlap & Silk in Troy, AL.
